Major Executive Search announces the successful completion of an assignment placing Yalcin Bulut as the Chief Operating Officer for Menlo Microsystems, the developer of the Ideal Switch™, an electromechanical switch technology used to switch AC/DC and RF. Major Executive Search Founder and CEO, Sue Major conducted the assignment along with Managing Director, John Rivoir.
Yalcin joins Menlo Micro after serving the role of Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at United Silicon Carbide (UnitedSiC, now Qorvo). Prior to that his leadership experience included Vishay, Inc. where he was the Vice President of Power Product Lines, along with Alpha and Omega Semiconductor where he guided the company’s strategic direction as Vice President of Discrete Product Lines.
The newly created COO position will lead several key functions at Menlo Micro. Yalcin will oversee the sales, marketing, quality assurance and product areas of the company.

Yalcin holds a Bachelor of Material Science Engineering from Middle East Technical University, and subsequently earned his Master of Business at Iowa State University
