Major Executive Search announces the successful completion of an assignment recruiting Mang Zhu as the Vice President, Head of Intellectual Property for InterDigital (NASDAQ: IDCC), a mobile and video technology research and development company. Mang is a recognized leader in the field of intellectual property with 15 years of experience in leading teams of technical patent professionals (non-attorneys) to strategically build and maintain large patent portfolios. In her new role, Mang will be responsible for development and maintenance of InterDigital’s patent portfolio and long-term patent strategies. She moves to the role following almost seven years at ZTE where she was chief IP strategy officer, head of patent asset management. Prior to her role at ZTE, Mang was with Motorola/Lenovo for fourteen years.
Mang graduated from the University of Science and Technology in China with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and received her Ph.D. degree Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
