Major Executive Search supports local college students by offering internship opportunities that provide hands-on experience in and exposure to the business world. Interns are encouraged to contribute their ideas and participate fully in the business life of the firm.  We are thrilled to welcome two bright, young minds to our team – Elizabeth Sangster & Grace Knickrehm.

About Elizabeth Sangster

Elizabeth Sangster is a full-time student at California State University Channel Islands and is on track to graduate early with a degree in Psychology. Elizabeth has extensive international travel experience throughout parts of Europe, Asia, Central and South America, which has allowed her to experience a wide array of cultures and perspectives. With an interest in communication and inclusion, Elizabeth has continued her education by studying deaf culture and becoming proficient in American Sign Language. Her interests in travel and communication have also led her to study the French language at a university level, participate in both her high school and university dance programs and enjoys choreographing in her free time. After graduating Elizabeth is interested in working in developmental psychology while continuing her education to earn a PhD.

About Grace Knickrehm

Grace Knickrehm is a recent graduate of The Bishop’s School and an incoming freshman at Northwestern University where she plans to study Economics and Computer Science. Having accumulated a broad range of experiences throughout her high school career, Grace is adept at applying knowledge in one area to skills demanded in another. As a seasoned debater, Grace draws on her experience to write and speak in ways that resonate, conduct thorough research and compile dense information. Having traveled across Asia while living in Singapore, she learned how to communicate with diverse groups of people. Previously, Grace interned in Dr. Susan Kaech’s immunology lab at the Salk Institute, where she studied the impact of the spatial organization of immune cells on the tumor microenvironment. Grace is also a member of the World Economic Forum’s AI Youth Council, learning ways technology is increasingly shaping our societies and behaviors. In her free time, she enjoys reading non-fiction, studying Chinese, and learning 80s guitar riffs.
